In 2007 I had my first experience leaving the United States by Myself. At the time it was the opportunity of a lifetime. 5 weeks in Bosnia and Herzegovina. My first real journey out in the world. Just me and my friend with the assistance of his parents. All I needed was the plane ticket (which I got with the help of my open minded parents).
Since my first jaunt I have traveled more than 300,000 miles, over 100 International cities, in over 35 countries and have spent more than 1 year abroad. By doing that I have fostered some of the most powerful relationships I’ve ever had, made some lifelong friends, seen breath taking sunsets and sunrises, and truly lived free. Traveling really feeds the soul. You meet people, see places, and do things you’d never even envisioned as reality.
As a tribute to that, the people who’ve gone with me, and those who have never seen. I am starting a panoramic series where I will be posting original panoramic content of my travels for the world to see. Both domestic and international.
So here’s to wanderlust, and the idea that not all those who wander are lost.
I hope you enjoy.
